hey this is probably a silly question but I have a vtr and I know you can make this a vts with a new engine but what else can i put in you know how corsas and calibra turbos go? anyway that probably makes no sense but cheers anyway

no larger engine will fit in the engine bay without some pretty hefty alterations. The 2.0 16v enigne has been shoe horned in but it requires bulkhead modifications new struts etc...

basically yes

when you take into account the cost to get the larger enigne, all the custom work to get it in, then the added weight over the front wheels ruining handling then it just doesnt seem worthwhile when you could spend all that money on the vts/vtr engine and retain the handling but have shit loads of power

one of the better forced air induction kits, very similar to the simota enclosed though i think it is cheaper, also BMC very good as well dont think there has been conclusive proof between them which is best

hmmm 97 vtr would be a blacktop and 2002 silvertop need to check the the throttle body inlet sizes

all show and no go. pushed two or three right to their limits with ease(driver ability acounted for). seen plenty of them on the qtr mile strip aswell and most seem to pull very high 14s to mid 15s! fastest time i`ve seen one achieve was 14.4 with 75 won kit,lol. they are decent to drive though and the torque is nicely all through the rpm range.
