OK, I know I'm a little behind the times with this, but I've just been watching it on the news!

Feck me, that looked BAD!!!

Seeing all of the cars floating off down the street was really freaky!

Does anyone on here live near to this place?

Hopefully things stay as they are, with no fataalities!

Yeah, its pretty shocking!

How does this work with insurance... is it classed as an act of god... therefore the insurance companies dont have to pay out??

Serious sheit!

No, I didnt see them piled up

Did any make it out to the sea

I bet some of the insurance companies have a clause about natural flooding in their policies!

its shit as well because some of the buildings were over 300 years old. All that character and heritage gone just like that. I fell sorry for the residents. Its like sumthin u see on movies with the helicopters flyin above a river goin through a village

Insurance companies have said that no-one will be refused cover because of the flooding. Bet it goes up a hell of alot though! And if the people there thought it couldn't get any worse, who turns up? John Prescott then Prince Charles! Just what you want!

it is very mad, i'm one bay away from it right at this very moment. Some of the beaches next to boscastle have been closed because of debris. Seriously on the beach i was on in bude today there was so much crap. The harbour that the cars fell in to AND THEN ON OUT TO SEA< YES SIMO, SOME DID MAKE IT TO THE SEA, is in complete chaos, mud everywhere.

The mates i have met down here went there 1DAY before it happend. mental.

if anyone wants to be a good samaritan, than the number to give muhuney is 08701633823.

Great weather for kite flying, went to fly this `10 foot thing today, was leaping METRES in the air holding on to it!!!!"! Tis wikad!!!!!
