Halfords Polisher
I noticed at work last week that halfords do a polisher which has changeable heads so you can use it as a grinder aswell. I was just wondering has any1 used one as a polisher before? I think it was £22.99. Cheers

Think theres a risk of paint burn with the halfords rotary.

go to argos and buy one from there, its cheaper.

I've got one from Argos, does the job quite nicely really. Just use it for buffing my car though

your not going to get a good finish from these cheap buffer things, they do what they say and thats buff thats it, at the end of the day you get what you pay for
the porter cable is the best and safest way to remove swirl marks and buff the car up, then after them when your confident enough get a mikita rotary one and use that as a buffer, dont get me wrong you can burn the paint with a pc but there a lot safer than the others, only difference is the price, id much rather save for a pc than buying these cheap buffer things
if you wait theres the ultimate detailing machine coming out and i think megs are bringing one out, so put 20 quid a week away and save up

lol, i know claire but it dont mean i buy the stuff from there lol. £££ is what its about. i used my dads polisher thing which is probably the same as the polishers from argos and it was pretty good at buffing. I'm still amazed by zymols cleaner wax. defo FTW! Might even get their auto wash stuff too hehe. cheers for the advice yall
