Default ebay enclosed vs likes of viper and bmc

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Cool-Air-Ram-U...QQcmdZViewItem

seriously what makes the viper and bmc £100+ more

like stated on here the other day, the air travels too fat to be heated up by the metal

there will be differences in performance, if you think company spend time and money developing the inductions kits and the other small companys just copy them but on a budget

Hmmmm now Ive seen quite a few things about totally enclosed filters on rolling roads that lost the car bhp but that said a silly little fan blowing on and into the engine bay cant hope to recreat the same amount of forced air into a enclosed filter.

As for quality, its hard to say, branded filters will no doubt have a better material for filtration and airflow compared to a non branded item, does that mean you shouldnt buy it Jury is out on that one.

For the money it looks ok, not unlike the Pipercross Viper and the K&N Apllo systems.

Best advice is, if you like the look of it and you have the money then take a chance, it maybe good it maynot be good - who knows.

ask yourself why most people swap their raceland filters for a green one..
cheap filters are quite simply not as good. Otherwise we would all have the argos max power filter
