Saxperience Track Session
If you took part in any of the Saxperience track sessions during 2006 I'm sure you'll be looking forward to the track action which FCS 2007 has to offer!
Saxperience has booked a dedicated track session on the day of the main FCS event (Sunday 15th July). This session will last for 30 minutes and is limited to 19 cars! (1 additional sponsor car may appear on track with us).
Passengers are allowed to participate, but this will incur a small additional charge.
The session will take place on the 1.7 mile National Circuit (used in BTCC) and guarantees an excellent driving experience!
The cost of the dedicated track session is £700.00, which means that the cost for each driver is £37. Saxperience will bare the cost of this event if 19 drivers do not book, so please show your support!
All cars must be road-worthy, drivers must hold a valid UK driving license and helmets MUST be worn.
The Saxperience track session has been provisionally scheduled from 11:00am until 11:30am.
If you'd like to purchase a place within the dedicated Saxperience track session, you can do so by visiting the Saxperience Online Shop. (Note. If paying online via Paypal, transaction handling fees will be added.)

I am not sure... thats something I wanted to clarify too.
Passengers are allowed, at extra cost, so maybe they wont be as strict as they could be.

would we pay the cost of a passenger when we sign on in the morning or do we have to pay in advance?

I will call up my insurance company tomorrow morning and see how much they charge for track cover... i am certainly very interested
Is the price charged per person or per car? as in... if i paid to go out on the track session.. and paid for my brother to be a passenger and film.. could we swap half way? so he drives my car...? we would only spend the same time on the track as one person? so effectively sharing the track session... is that possible?
Cheers
Alex

You can sign additional drivers on at additional expense, but not sure how that would work...
I put a link in the events forum last sumemr for a company specifically offering track cover.. its usually about £30 for a track session.

Thanks Simo, not to worry about the driver sharing... my brother says he wouldn't feel comfortable driving my car around a track... so he can be my passenger and photographer
I'll enquire about track cover tomorrow! and if i can get it sorted at a reasonable price i'll get booked in!
Thanks,
Alex

Just send an email quotation to www.trackcover.com as they claim to be able to insure me for the event for less than £18.50...
Will have to see what the quotation comes back like!

I've just e-mailed them as well, thanks for that. I've said it isn't a track day as it's only a 30 minute session so maybe it could be cheaper than that

Yep.. i gave them the full details of the event... and said it is a club track session, not a race... and only lasts for half an hour... would be interested to see the price they quote...
No insurance for me... no trackday...

I thought it was worth mentioning that there are currently TWO track slots remaining and FOUR of you have been in contact with me to register interest in booking...
