Mk1 and Mk2 wierd Difference??
had my car lowered a while ago i got a Mk2 Vtr and i brought the full gmax 55mm lowering kit and we fitted it all etc and it looks more like 35mm lol and my mate got a Mk1 VTR and he brought the 35mm one and it looks more like 50mm is there a difference in the standard height or anything like that? Can't quite understand it lol anyone got any ideas? if there both the same and everything i mite just buy myself some new springs for the front then adjust the rear!

it could just need settling in as the shocks and springs wont settle for a few miles

You should have measured your car before and after you lowered it.As said, may need to be broken in
|

the suspension been on the car for about a month now lol so think it would of broken in by now lol

Dunno, I got a 60mm Spax kit and it looks more like 45mm on my MK2. Maybe it's just the way it is.
Put some big boulders in your boot, and some growbags on the passenger floor... lol
