Magnex question!!??
Hi, just a question about my magnex system which should arrive to me on monday, i am just wondering wether i will need any cutting too fit this or does it just go straight onto the cat or is it the downpipe it goes onto? thanks? jay

doesnt need cutting if your not bothered about it sticking out a bit mate, will fit no problems, but if you want it to stick further in then you need to cut a bit off the centre section

Ok thanks mate! i like my exhausts too poke out a bit like otherwise no point in really getting a decent one lol! so where does this connect too? it is the full system so does it go too the cat or the downpipe?

yeah if you take a look at my progress thread on page 13 ive cut mine to stick in a bit more otherwise it will stick out another inch or so

well it has a backbox and a middle pipe with it, so just wondered if it then goes onto the cat pipe! if you get me??? ta

ok bud, if the cat is in the manifold the cat will still be in place obviously but if cat is under the car it will replace the cat therefore de-catting it, will need the cat on for mots though
