Default Power steering pipe

On Wednesday i noticed steam bellowing out from under the bonnet, immediately i thought the worst.
But once pulled over with the bonnet up i could clearly see that powersteering fluid was pissing out of a split pipe.
Called the AA out just to be on the safe side and he towed me home.
Turns out the split pipe had been rubbing against the Steering arm, apparantly a very common thing with lowered cars. (mines slammed)
So i need a new pipe and the garage i took it to quoted me £129 all in to replace it.
Does this sound reasonable???

cheers

Lee

No do it your self, just screws in behind the engine and into the pump at the front its a simple job to do yourself. Just buy the pipe from citroen.

Ok, if you jack your car up you can see where the pipe screws in and follow it round to the pump. Easy job mate get it done lol

You'll also need to bend the new pipe out the way of the steering arm, or I think it can be relocated as someone has done on here but I'm not sure how. Best to have a search for that info unless someone else can provide it!
