Was meant to get my car back friday after the MOT, but the stupid place ordered the wrong wheel bearing in!!! not going to get it back till monday!!
are wheel bearings hard to get or something?!
Oh my god, now monday. Rang the garage to arrange to pick car up, turns out they havent even ordered the part!!!!!! i now havent had a car for like 5 days just for a poxy wheel bearing, takes the piss. They so better give me one big discount.

i would just go out on one of them and relive my youth, probs go and seek on my mates and give the a backer or a lift on the handle bars lol that would be cool.
i hate it when people mess with a car, then say they carnt get it done when they told you it would be done by.
feel like saying, 'HOW TW@ IF I HAD KNOWN THAT,I WOULD HAVE TOOK IT SOMEWHERE ELSE, YOU LYING TW@' lol
hope you get it sorted

know exactly how you feel my car was in the garage for two weeks when it was meant to be a quick simple thing. you dont realise how much you rely on your car til it goes!

Im so annoyed, why the f*k should it take that long. Nowhere anywhere has got a wheel bearing at all. My dads having to give me a lift to shi*ty work, where i get paid peanuts, and the garage is saying there going to charge more if they get the bearing from dover. Even though he said the dover place dont have one!!!!!!!! anyone got a mk1 wheel bearing going!! proberly be a lot quicker. haha. arghhhhhhhhh

Well there is, cos i cant get to work and im bored as fuk. lol. I hate not having a car. It would be ok if they was ok about it, but ordering the wrong part then forgetting to re-order the right one in again takes the mic.
Plus he just hung up on me, when i asked how much the cost would be. tut

No idea what theyre playing at any garage should be able to get a part as simple as that for the same working day (depending on time ordered) or certainly the next working day.
A front wheel bearing is £17 for me locally, even if you paid slightly extra and got the part ordered directly from Citroen (sure in this instance ud rather pay the extra and get your car back) then you'd have the part next day.
Sounds like they are taking the p*ss, try and wrangle a discount and then find another garage next time round thats going to be reliable

Well apparently its a odd model, because it was the last one of the phase1 model. Doesnt make much sense to me, but i have rang around all local garages as far as canterbury ( from dover ). No where has the certain part - they think they do untill they search under the Reg number.
