I am about to attempt to lower my VTS.

I am dropping it 50mm on GMC springs, and was wondering what should I drop the rear, is it 50mm the same or should it be lower.

Cheers

It depends on quite a few things really...

What size alloys do you have? Most people tend to lower the rear either 40mm or 60mm, although bigger and smaller drops are possible...

If you've got big rims (17's), I'd lower it 40mm... but if youve got smaller alloys, you might as well go down the 60mm.

My car's lowered 40mm at the front and rear.

Im only on standard 14" slloys at the moment but will probably go to 16" superleggera with 195/40/16.

Was going to go for 16" or 17" chrono evo like yourself but put off because I was told its a nightmare to fit.

No 17s are a peice of piss to fit mate, look even Simo has put 17s on and he is quite lazy

Personaly i would go for 17s over 16s cause after a few months of havin your 16s you will wish you had 17s...

Well, I think it is better to choose 16s... (we want them fast don't we !! ). As far as it concers the lowering, I agree with simo... 40mm at the front and the rear. 60mm I think is too much... especially with 16s (forget the 17s...)

cya guys
