Default Rudpud's Flatarch SOLD

Well, after i have a mix off threads with plans i cant even remember and shit like that im gonna get me arse into gear and make a progress.

I dont have any of when i got the car back in August last year for £500, bargain tbh nothing wrong with it, few stone chips thats it. I passed in feb and got on the road. Since then been busy with Alevels and exams.

Page 1 - Debadging, Stickers, De-wipered, nd painted strips
Page 2 - New grill, Smoked jewels
Page 3 - Mirror caps, more on the boot, Angels, Sportex backbox
Page 4 - Alloys
Page 5 - General pics
Page 6 - General pics
Page 7 - HID's
Page 8 - Shoot with Jeffchiz Tom5190

However here is the car.

During de-Badging

I forgot to take pics during priming

Then the end product its a lil streaky but not bad for first time of painting

Currently has
Meshed grill
Debagded boot
Black angel eye headlights
Sportex 3'' Backbox
De-wipered
Subs in the boot
Raceline 15" alloys in dark grey
Ripspeed USB headunit (come with car)

Future plans

meshed grill Done
de-wiper Done
new backbox Done
possibly K&N air filter (got it not sure about fitting it)
Gloss/Matte black bump strips as there faded Done
Smoked jewels Done
Lower it 40mm
Alloys/Gloss Steelies Done
Angel eyes - Done

All comments welcome

Instead of spraying the bump strips you could use back-to-black on them, works a treat! Looking nice so far

Cheers mate

I was advised that sanding with 1500+ wet and dry then waxing over that will help, anyone got any clue on this?

Little update

Starting on thursday, i will be;
Cleaning up the rear of the car.
Spraying my bump strips

My question is, for the strips do i go for fully smooth or keep em textured?

Cheers

Today's Progress

Fixed my driver door handle problem.
De-wipered

In that pic you can see the problem i have with the paint on the boot. The weather limited me to what i could do tho.

you should de-lock the boot plinth, would look good with the de-badged boot, don't worry about the boot not looking 100% its your first car and as long as your haven't wasted loads of money on it, no harm done

Tomorrow will hopefully bring nice weather so i can get the bumpers off to spray them.

Thursday's Progress

Today didnt bring alot apart from enlarging my knowledge of the car tbh. I got the rear bumper off for spraying and sprayed the drivers side bump strips all black.

And here's one to show the difference.

After work tomoro, should get the left side done, and then to meet CarlosVT for the new zorst.

Okay, due to a few causes, am no longer getting the exhaust from Carlos , so the hunt is on.

Today, i just finished the other bump strips, only the front bumper to do now

Sax-P stickers on the way
