SAXO VTS / VTR New Tax Prices!
How much is the new road tax rules going to cost for a VTR / VTS?
I believe a Mazda RX8 1.3l is like £400+ :O

Rates effective from April 2009 for all cars registered on / after 1 Mar 2001
VTS
6 Months = £165 (Was £115.50)
12 Month = £300 (Was £210)
VTR
6 Months = £82.50 (Was £79.75)
12 Month = £150.00 (Was £145)

ye unfortuntley my dad owns a rx-8, so gonna have to pay £420 a year tax, hel should have got a lotus, small manufactures like lotus will still have cheaper tax

Doing road tax prices on emmisions is a complete load of bollocks. This global warming crap is well out of hand.
I appreciate we all have to pay tax somehow, if it wasnt on road tax it would be on something else. But taxing a car on its emmisions is nonsense
