Default Cant push the caliper piston back?!

Evenig, changing the discs and pads on my gf saxo 1.1 this evening. Got the car jacked up and on axle stands, took wheel off, removed the 2 torx bolts on the back of the caliper, etc but I couldnt prize the piston back? I then tried the other side and same problem just couldnt get it to push back? Is there a special way of doing it?

P.s its the front calipers
