You'll usually get slightly better results on a bigger power engine, but its a higher octane fuel designed to give slightly better performance, economy etc.
Many cars you won't even notice a difference, but say a Scooby turbo you will notice it running better with a higher octane.
My ATR for instance is designed to run on 97 octane or higher, it loves v-power. It gets a bit rougher, thirstier and not as happy on regular 95.

I've found v-power is pissed away when sat in traffic but decent mpg on the motorway.
I use BP's special stuff over shells, the cars get a tiny bit better mpg and feels better high revs.
Thats over a range of N/A cars. I'd only put vpower in a turbo tbh.

Works really well with my Ibiza, it's all I run it on now. Makes no difference on the VTS though

Won't make any difference to a saxo. I've only put it in if they're run out of the normal stuff and I can't be arsed to drive to another garage. We treat the TVR to it and it responds well. My bf has to put it in his BX 16v because it was designed to run on 4 star and pinks if he puts in unleaded

think it's got additives in aswell. bit like adding redex to normal fuel
i only ever use v-power as my car is superchipped and normal petrol can cause pinking

naff all to a saxo mate..
my cousin runs shell v power only in his cossie... but it was mapped up using shell v power so he always uses it...
i used to always put in shell v power and kid myself that it made a difference...all it really did was give me less petrol...
