Default Air Bag Light

Hello,

I was wondering if you could help me.
I have a Saxo, although I am trying to sell it. The air Bag light is on all the time and I was wondering if there was any way other then going to the garage to turn the light off or does it actually mean my air bag is busted?

Any suggestions are welcome

Thank you

check the orange connector under the seats

if that doesnt work
1. take your battery lead off wait 10 mins
2. take the airbag off the steering wheel (2 torx srews behind steering wheel)
3 . place air bag somewhere safe
4. you will see a orange connector you need put two wires in and bridge them with a 10 amp fuse
5. put air bag back in steering wheel

this tricks the car into thinking the airbag is all good

This - I knocked mine out while hoovering, literally just a small connector and a bodyclip style thing that plugs into the bottom of the seat. Sorted it out instantly

3ohm resistor, what good will a fuse do lol

mate, disconnect the battery, and poke in a 3ohm resistorfor each wire coming out the carpet under the front seats (one wire per seat) put one leg of the resistor into each terminal of the plug connector so that it 'fools' the system into thinking the seats are plugged in even though theyre not. The airbag will still work this way aswell
