Incorrectly fitted hid and led lights will be illegal as of late april early may.
They will cause you to fail mot and possibly get pulled by the boys in blue.

fuck it, just do it mate, sure they'll be fine with the po po aslong as they arent ridiculously blue or not adjusted properly so they blind everyone. Theyre piss easy to fit aswell, should come with a little wiring diagram.
Just fit the standard bulbs for the mot, takes like 10 minutes

depends how strict the police are in your area on things like this. In my area, they dont really seem to care about modded cars but more on uninsured/untaxxed vehicles.
i wouldnt get any higher than 6000k, after that it starts to get quite bluey
a new kit can be bought for about £50
well worth it in my opinion, gives a much more newer look than any yellow bulb

All HID bulbs that fit in place of halogen bulbs are for off road use only. They do not comply with vehicle lighting regs and in so are not road legal. So fit them at your own risk. At the very least I would say tell your insurance company you have done it and at then at least you may at least be covered. Though the reality is if you do disclose that you have fitted none compliant lighting they would refuse to cover you. So personally i would say your best not fitting the at all. This page can tell you more www.hid.moonfruit.com
