Best 266 pads?
Went and bought myself a set of brembo max discs today and wondering what the best pad would be to accompany these?
Was thinking some green stuff pads?
Car will mainly be used as a daily with some spirited country lanes chucked in for good measure and maybe 1 or 2 track days.

I remember buying a set of Greenstuff and they were horrendous.
They never fitted lol.
I then bought some standard Mintex, for road use they were decent and cheap. I'd recommend them

I had green stuff years ago on a old motor and they were only any good when they were up to temperature.

general consensus is green stuff are shit. The amount of people who say they are bad compared to those who rated them is very skewed towards to the former, so is it worth wasting the money on them? There are some very decent pads out there for not bad money. OMP pads are what i'm going to try next

For road. Mintex 1144 or Ferodo DS2500. Its your brakes. Never skimp on what ultimately stops you from crashing.

ive got greenstuff pads atm, havent really noticed a difference in braking performance tbh.
Like kam racing said. The mintex ones i have heard good reviews about, same with the ds2500's
ill probably be getting the latter next.

Cheers lads, ended up buying some mintex pads from a local motorfactors, £25, so fairly reasonable.

sorry if im stating what you already know but the mintex ones you bought would just be the OEM replacement pads.. quality pads but the mintex m1144's being mentioned earlier are a lot more expensive pads
again sorry if you already knew this but you get a lot of people who think becuase they are mintex then they are better than oem quality parts
