Manchester United are this morning at the centre of an FA inquiry after TWO separate bust ups at Stamford Bridge. Moments after the game Rio Ferdinand nearly KILLED a woman after brushing her with his foot, then during a standard warm down Patrice Evra was seen to DEFEND himself from a punch. All players now face life bans.
United's shame kicked off when Ferdinand, 29, lashed out at a wall, furious with the 2-1 defeat, however he accidentally touched a FEMALE steward with his foot. The United ace apologised profusely and repeatedly, even giving her his shirt and making a promise of sending flowers, however since an up-market red topped Sunday newspaper got hold of the story her attitude has mysteriously changed. The steward wasn't on hand to talk, however luckily a pal said "You could hear the crack as her leg snapped and it may have to be amputated". Just to add to Ferdinand's trouble he faces a separate inquiry after Drogba, who was only METRES away in a separate room, collapsed under the weight of the kick. A Chelsea insider confirmed "It was horrible to watch, Didier was in so much pain".
Minutes later Evra, Neville and a gang of wild thugs wearing United shirts were seen RUNNING across the Chelsea pitch. Infuriated by this total abuse of a football pitch they were confronted by angry Chelsea staff. Pushing and shoving ensued - the likes of which has never been seen on a football pitch - and a PUNCH was thrown (by a member of the Chelsea staff). The FA are likely to take very seriously, allegations that Evra was seen raising his hands to deflect a punch by Sam Bethell, 23. Last night Bethell spoke out: "It was disgraceful. All I wanted to do was punch him square in the face, and he had the cheek to raise his hands. I hope he gets what's coming to him".
Korean star Park Ji-Sung also looks set to feel the full force of the FA - although like the rest of the players he was not seen throwing a punch, a shocking picture has emerged of him pulling a stupid face while trying to break up the melee. It is not the first time this has occurred, and he looks set to be banned for 10 games. For Evra however it is much worse. While he will probably be banned for life, Drogba is also taking legal action for a cut on the head he received during the bust up. Chelsea manager Avram Grant confirmed: "Yes Drogba was seriously hurt. What makes it worse is that Didier was still down after the Ferdinand assault. Perhaps some people wouldn't have felt the gust of wind that Evra's arm movements caused especially because he was 200 metres away at the time, but if you get a head injury you have to go down and get treatment. Full credit to him, he's a sensitive guy".
Rumours that Drogba has died in hospital were last night unconfirmed.

On a related topic, Didier Drogba has been banned from attending Pat Lampard's funeral this week amidst fears he would end up diving in the box.
