Default How much / often do you drink?

Inspired by the smoking thread, how often do you guys drink / spend on drink / what do you drink?

No Bulmers bravado billy big bollocks stuff please, just reality.

I drink some weekends in the summer, BBQ season, the odd beer and a shed load of rum, that's pretty much it, I'd wager I spend less than £50 a year on booze for myself.

I would say I spend about £50 on beer and wine every month for the house.

Probably have a beer or 2 most evenings as I just enjoy it, obviously not drinking to get drunk.

And I reckon in an average month I might go out 3 times and have a fair amount to drink, at a rough guess I would say I spend £50 on alcohol a time, not including other expenses such as food, taxis etc.

So that equates to around £2400. I've never really even tried to calculate it before, but that's surprised me. That's quite a fucking lot in reality!

Only drink os speical occasions's i.e. birthday's, holiday's etc.

When I drink I do spend a fortune so that's why I probably don't do it as much any more.

Hardly ever really. Dont drink during the week, and then weekends, normally drove back home on the friday, once in a blue moon il have a rum n coke when I get back in, if I take missus out im always the driver, and if we go out and get taxi, 95% of the time ive got to drive back to portsmouth on the sunday, so wont have any.

But like you a few bbqs over summer I will have a few.

It doesnt help that Darlington and Portsmouth are shit holes, and Id be gutted to wake up knowing ive spent 80 quid with nothing to show!

Clearly you're not well tasted in the world of Scottish breweries if you think that piss water is good.

I think I probably drink 4 nights of the week, Two of these will be big booze ups and the other 2 just 4 cans or a bottle of wine watching TV with fam/mates.

I make my own wine, cider and beer so it does help keep the costs down so I'd say I probably spend about £100 a month on booze.

I don't really drink. Occasionally have a bottle of newcy brown or nutty black, maybe one a month, and possibly a pint of guinness, again, maybe one a month... Never really have more than one at a time any more though.

For some strange reason I just imagined that you shout "MO FARAHHHHHH" on the vinegar stroke, maybe we should set this as a challenge

http://www.blackislebrewery.com

If anyone fancies some really nice beer/ale then this is the place to get it from. It's fantastic and a million times better than most supermarket piss water.

Very seldom, will have a couple of bottles of Kronenbourg watching Match of the Day occasional weeks, otherwise Ill go to the pub every few months with a mate I used to kick about with. In fact I drink so seldom I went to a mates wedding the other week, had a champagne while toasting, and a pint, and I felt half pissed.
