My old westie was 60 on the front and sitting on the bump stops on the back
People only say about 40 mil because that is good for handling and day-to-day driving Me personaly likes the look of cars slammed

this has been said so many times lol. rearcan be slammed to what you want but front doesnt match unless you spend some hard cash. or cheap way chop bits.
im sure the power sterring only rubs on the mark 2? is this true.as ive dropped my mk1 vts 60mm front!

I've been on the bumps at the back but it's very dangerous, makes the car jump like hell.
Raceland do a cheap coilover set on the front for £140 which will drop like 90mm or something then match it on the torsion bar, sorted.
Can't believe noones said it yet, PICS OF GOLF!

bump stops are dangerous you just have to control them like a man and 40 mil doesnt mean shit with handling if you drive properly you dont need suspension on the back pure hardness is the way to stick to the roadddd
