My old 1.6 (1.1) saxo i miss :(
here is my sadly missed saxo i wish i never sold and then worst of all the person that bought it off me only had it a few months and thought he would find it funny to see my face when he took it to the scrap yard .
Started life as a 998cc eastcoast
Here are some of mods cant remember them all but here goes:
1.6 vtr engine
green air filter
4-2-1 manifold straight through to universal back box 4" tip (used a vtr rear bumper for exhaust cut out so it didnt look stupid)
coilovers
vtr driveshafts
vtr hubs with drilled and grooved brake disks
black vtr alloy wheels
slammed (120mm rear) dont know front as i slammed it to start off with and found lowest i could go without snapping anymore driveshafts haha
tinted rear 3 windows
vtr interior (clocks etc)
tinted jewel rear lights
raised bonnet
angel eye headlights
stripped interior
Cant remember what else but i loved it and reciepts show that i spent over £4000 just parts lol

you spent 4k on a 1.0?
not sure if that's madness or dedication, could have bought a badass vts for that price...

i know but you must know what its like to get addicted to modifying a car and not realising how much you end up spending haha, i would never say it was a mistake though

nahh wish i did mate, it was just standard from behind apart from the bumper cut out and 4" tip back box, im so tempted to do it again, and well you know how it is when modifying a car and keep changing your mind on parts.
overall i recon 1000-1500 would make it look like this,
tell ya what though with no weight they have the rear end out a dream and was well easy to handle

I totally agree, 1.1's are normally driven by 17 year olds who don't know anything about tasteful car modifying
