Well got round to doing some more work on the car today, was nice weather so I thought i'd take advantage of it. I have a shelter/garage thing but it's still nice to do it in the warmth.

Plan was to add another coat of paint to the underside, this would make 2 now. Another 2 to go before I seal it off, making sure I have not missed anything that needs painting. Some paint dripped onto the yellow though >.>, so thats going to need another couple of coats to cover the bloody black on it.

Before I did this though, I had a proper look at the engine bay as this will be getting started soon with the help of Alex who will be coming round to help me re-paint it all without breaking it

As you can see, problem areas have been identified and are due to be killed. While I was there I stripped all covers, strut brace and took the battery out. It's going to save me some time when it comes to re-painting it all. As you can see it's full of rust now so the only option open to me is to re-paint it, gives me a good excuse to get it looking nice and shiny again though so not really bothered.

While I was looking under the bonnet I gave the underside of the hood a quick wipe down, nice and shiny so alex had that painted at some point in it's life

While the car was in the air I took the oppurtunity to sort the exhuast out, clay barred all the crap off it (or as much as would come off) and gave it a good polish with some autosol.

That came up well;

Turns out the cats around here have taken a liking to climbing on the roof of the car, so need to find some deterant and spray it around the car lol... fucking hate cats.
