going to have to show me at the cruise

heres a thread to give you an idea of what you want to do on the big 3 http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=214171

i only got the jl comps as the 1st pair i got are the top of range model and i got them very cheap thay sound crystal clear and are pretty loud but there are louder comps out there that would be better suited for big bass installs like re xxx mids like matty has.

your welcome for a listen mate just come over and have a sit in

well havnt done much work to the car over the last cuple of weeks but i installed some jl audio comps in a mr2 the other day and he didnt need the speaker grills so i thought i would use then in my car to stop people kicking my speakers thay look ok but when ive got time il make some custom speaker grills.
(i still need to finish the pods)

looks like il have to take the side windows out at some point and re-paint them in hammerite as the weekend booming at ists made the paint bubble the side windows at the moment are just sprayed with normal statin black paint thats why thay have bubbled up.

but i have a 2nd idea bit extreme but different seen it done on a walled polo whats your lot thoughts? was thinking of smoothing the boot too
my quick photoshop

at the moment im installing some 16cm gt5 comps in a someone elses car so thought i would get a pic of it next to its big bro lol tempted to get a pair for my doors but dont think thay will sounds as nice as the jl comps

looks well different with the van conversion! but unless you get double layered sheet steel welded in the place of the windows it will crack etc with all that bass i should imagine...?
If you van it then you should VT kit it to give it some sort of shape as with all that smoothing and no kit at all it might not have any definition? just a thought!?

Awsome original idea!

well hopfuly have a mate whos an awsome metal worker plating it for me so im sure he will do it very strong and bass does effect the rear quater much so bass wont damage any think

should be able to get it smoothed with hardly any filler too so wont have to worry and that cracking.

i was thinkig about putting the vt on when i van it to give it more shape but will have to do some photoshops to see if it will look right

thanks mate
