Default remap

this is in here but its not specific to saxo's.

my question is. does a remap on a standard car realy make that much difference?

Depends what kind of car it is really

Turbod cars seem to get the best gains out of remapping only, especially Turbo diesels

Not worth doing on an unmodded NA engine.

The money spent on a decent remap could be better spent elsewhere!

if you did it yourself and just got someone to map the file then it's not that expensive for the gains you'd get would cost more for a full stainless exhaust system and you wouldn't get anywhere near the power as you would from a remap

as above, turbo or diesel or even better tubo diesel see good gains, generally youll be looking at about 10bhp (on average this is up or down for diff cars) but the throttle response is what youll notice...... but as above its only worth it if your finished modding the car, beter gains will be seen with more mods but if you dont wanna go that route its still worth it dpending on price and quality
