Looks awesome mate, very tidy example and alot of effort into an 8v Engine.
Can't wait to be insurable on VTR/VTS. I think i'd make these kinds of mods with the engine on the 16v engine personally though.

Can't fault it though. I love the look of the engine bay.

Sounds to me its running too lean. You need a bigger fuel jet.

Felt a little sluggish of late, and then started making a pretty bad metallic sound from the top end which continued to get worse. Rocker gasket was leaking too,so i puchased new one and dropped off to the garage that did my top end for investigation....

After checking tappets, rockers, fitting gasket etc no better. They though it might be a valve not seating properly and were about to take top end off. Thought better of that and decided to do a compression check first. Coil pack off, undo plugs - WHOOOOOOA....no need...there already loose ! Yup,the horrible metallic (And id have put money on it) noise was actually 1 if not 2 plugs so loose that once engine warmed up and head expanded air was rushing past the plugs and the ceramic top to the plugs was encased in 'soot' as evidence !

After taking the 4 plugs out,cleaning,copper-slipping and then doing up properly its running 'considerably better'
