thanks Tom
Well pics will come later but went to Leicester the other weekend to see Josh and go to the footie and pic up the Bodies all went well bar the result as the strikers on the day were big lumps of lard!
Big thanks to JP good catching up again and having a laugh at the footie, anyway pics of the bodies to come side thanks go to Danny the machine gti for sorting tps and Aly spethal ginge for the ecu.
Plan with car is next week balljoints and welding will be done plus engine, box should be out then over the weekend. Week after will swap stuff on to new engine like alt and flywheel/clutch setup, also a few side things to do like 8v coilpack conversion, fit bigger rad and twin fan housing, gti front brake setup.
Think thats it in terms of remedial work needed obviously need to sort fuel lines out for the bodies but all in hand should be pretty funky, will have a interesting bright colour scheme to

Plenty of stuff to do before the engine even goes in be good few months before its on the road kit needs to be put back on the passenger side, spoiler needs to go back on, wheels need to be changed, oe exhaust back on, new seats need to go in. Dash centre consol needs pretty much rebuilding/rewiring :s new screen needs to go in and the lock on driver side needs sorting so it actually opens.
Rust wise to 2cm x 2cm in the back and thats it to sort, then engine stuff cambelt, clutch, new cv boot on one of the shafts, probably loads of other stuff to get done aswell in association with fitting the bodies. In dedication to AndyK this will be on the road mid to later summer
