My new daily driver is a passat 1.8t b5.5 with 18" audi alloys, think there the rs8 what alot of vag cars have on them. I will get a thread when im not at work and can get some pics.

Cant wait to give it a good detailing as definately needs the clay bar and a machine polish.

Okay then, i was going to keep this build abit quiet but ive given in haha. As i always wanted to go down the turbo route with the saxo and started buying parts about year and half ago then decied to stick to n/a but i wanted it to be alot quicker so past few months ive started buying boost parts. Also bought a suede dished steering wheel from FCS.

So far ive got-
Dp downpipe
Siemens 630cc injectors
OMEX 600 ecu
Dp oil feed
Air filter
2.25 Boost pipes
Ford coilpack
Boost guage

Might have a turbo smart dump valve that might have won on ebay.

Also been thinking of running jenveys in a plenum but that depends if can get a plenum built up.

Think the spec will be-
Dp manifold and Downpipe
Gt28 turbo
Decomp plate
Arp rod bolts
Vtr gearbox

Running between 10psi and 14psi

No not yet.... im debaiting whether to maybe take to trax, id like to but feel something will probably go wrong on it.

Also just bought some BE linkages off rossdagley yesterday as looking at going BE while doing turbo build.

Payday tommorow so for the car i will be buying my forge intercooler back and dannygti's gt28 turbo.

Only real things left for the turbo build is-
Clutch
Omex loom
Silicone hoses
BE box/shafts
Dp manifold
External wastegate
Screamer pipe
New dump valve(got 1 but want another)
Oil return

Also getting tints done on the passat.

Also forgot to add that i swapped my vts wheels for a set of 205 speedlines, i paid £30 for vts wheels a while ago and swapped with same lad i bought off. Going to put them on while refurb my pro races i think and see what are like.

Went and collected my turbo off dannygti yesterday, watched him finshing his car off and have it running with the new turbo on. And my BE linkage arrived too as and when i end up going for a BE box on the car.

Anyway, it has made me really want to get the car sorted asap see'ing danny have his running. Manifold will be getting ordered in a few months when ive got the money together, then i'll be looking at getting clutch and omex 600 loom. I'll just be buying the little bits between saving for the bigger stuff too but should all come together in good time its just im going to have to find somewhere too build it all up.

the car is sat on my gfs mate drive feeling sorry for itself as it hasnt been used since i have got the passat as cant afford to insure 2 cars.

Parts wise im just saving for the dp manifold so i can get that ordered, then get BE gearbox to fit to car then can sell diffed rallye box to fund forged internals and get engine rebuilt. Only thing is funds as ive got a baby on the way, sometime i just think should of stayed N/A as already got short gearbox and jenveys and wouldnt need much cash to get cams and ecu loom then get it mapped but i really want to boost the saxo and make it really quick and something different around my area.

Yes got along way to go

Trying to get the main stuff out the way first, will more than likely havbe it setup on low boost then get a engine built up then all its a case of doing is swapping engines over and raise the boost abit.

Deffo keep at it mate.

It'll be worth the wait i can assure you! If you get all the right bits togetehr slowly and dont cut corners you'll end up with something much better than if you go cheap and nasty!
