when i bought my dodge caliber oen month after owning it i got pulled up every nighton the return home form work which i work for G4s and transporting money, so wa weraing my uniform, I was getting pulled up for document checks and after first night of getiinga sked i took documents to police station and had recipt of proving them and then second night showed them this recipt and documents as had still in car at time,
They asked again each night yet again for documents and then said when i had my documents on me and showed them the docs , they asked why i had them on me. Seriously what a stupied question to ask when they pulled me up every night, ON the sunday night they pulled me up for drugs and illegal weapons in which i was locked and hand cuffed in their car whilst they searched my car at roadside.
When they found nothing and kept me there for over a hour, I finaly decided i had enough so i went to the police station and make a formal complaint and said it was police harrsemnt and then after i fileld out alot of forms and provided all documentation of how i was treated un fairly and as a criminal when i have not been in trouble with the police before.
SO the conclusion to this is that police are bullies and most of them are just complete waste of time, wasting their time pulling people like me up when theres more important things going on, I have now no repect for them as the treatment they gave me, To this day i have not been pulled up but i do always keep my harrasment document in my car just in case.
Also always ask for police badge numbers to keep your own record of when , where you was and what time they pulled you and what they said to you, as this will help later on in the future.
hope this helps

Why dont you ask them the reason they are pulling you over? I didnt think they could just pull you for absolutely no reason at all?
I got pulled over at the same place 2 nights in a row by the same officers (for doing nothing wrong, just routine late night carpark) the 2nd time, he came up to the window "do you know why we've pulled you over sir?" i just looked at him and said "again". Took him a second to recognise me, he literally just laughed then walked back to his car and drove off!!
(then he shouted "cool story bro" out his window at me whilst driving off)

Never had any trouble with the police, apart from when we were in a field.
They must get excited when they hear me coming, but then they see the slayer patch on the front grill and are like 'ah shit'.

I thought they needed a reason. is it the same policemen?
Remember, you are dealing with individuals when you are pulled over - all police dont act the same, so its not "they are all bullies" or "they dont pull you over for no reason" - it's down to the individual copper what he's doing and why and he needs to make sure he's operating within the rules.
Fact is, some police are bullies, and some are good people - why people side either way is plain stupid.
All those idiots saying the Op is doing something wrong may change their tune when they experience a bad copper.

i have quite a chavvy looking saxo which is quite low and really loud, always driving around town late at night/ really early morning at dodgy hours, always have a car full of boys and i never get pulled over. only been stopped twice in all the years of driving.
sometimes the police are just following me for ages but im actually really surprised i dont get pulled over more often tbh

I've been pulled twice in 2.5 years in camberley man, all of that in a modified saxo. They cant just pull you for nothing, as soon as i see a police car i juat wack it in fifth to keep the noise down and drive like a old man.
If you get pulled more than 4 times in a week and each time nothing is wrong you can make a formal complaint for harrasment iirc.

Wow its nice to know how people judge before finding out the rest of the story!
I Literally finished work at 12, I went up birmingham on my own in my work clothes and the first stop was a routine check up because i was followed for a while... 2nd check was after i got my food by an un marked car (again routine check up) and just before i got home, another un marked car pulled me over and breathalised me as a 'routine procedure'...
At the end of the day im taxed, insured, got all round newish tyres, MoT'd and im a safe driver! I have a new gearbox and clutch and don't intend on being an arse breaking it or being an arse in general.
