I'm jealous of those white comp's. Might have to go white with mine, are they difficult to keep clean?
and are yours the rounded ones or the flat ones? hard to tell!

Haha Iye, I love them.
Err yeah, they're an arse to keep clean. Ideally, they need cleaning everyday, or the brake dust just bakes on.
I could do with refurbishing them over winter tbh. Last time I didnt really do them properly.
Also they're the slightly rounded ones I'd prefer the flat faced ones, but I can't find any at all.

Yeah fingers crossed.
If its still duff, I'm sure a fuck load of SteelSeal will sort it Haha.
There an Engine for sale I've got my eye on, its a bare engine again.. But now i've sussed the conversion out, and have all the bits. It shouldn't be a tough do.
I'll just try and get this one going and decide what to do then. I'm having withdrawal symptoms from not driving it for so long though, I've been stuck with a 307 HDI for a week and its gay as fuck.

2 trolley jacks and you should be alright 3 people will make it alot easier. 1 on the jacks, 2 to piss about wiggling it into position.

I no yeah, his excuse was " I drive a diesel van, clutches are gay on petrols.."
The fuck. He's giving me £70 anyway, so I'm not fussed. Thats half a trackday paid for so its all good.
Ahh Cheers man, I plan on repainting it at some point. A matte colour though, I've seen a local guy in a purple rattle canned S13, and I think the colour is awesome, so I'm looking at Grey or Black rattle cans. yeah, atleast knowing saxo owners will see the 3 studs and think nothing of it, Until they hear my 16v's go Bwarple. Haha. I do plan on changing from 3 to 4 studs though at some point, I've got a rear S beam in the garage. I want to buy the rest all at once though,so I can do it in a day. Until then, I'll take it easy

Boony,
That is my old engine. I can even point out the exact reasons why that is my old engine. Various markings, parts missing etc.
Also, it was fucked. Headgasket problem, also pissing out oil, and dropping power to the extent it wasn't even getting over 30mph on the M1, i.e. fucking lethal.
Want me to explain why? PM me. I won't be online tonight, I got other shit to do.
Stop giving out the abuse on Sax-P as well. Deal with this in a proper fashion.

Right after yesterdays palava, I tried cracking on with the engine today.
Its bolted in,Wired up...sort of. And filled with fluids- Bar coolant. (I'll get to that shortly) -_-
First if all, I was missing a TPS and MAP sensor, I'm about to go and get one now from the lad i'm getting my exhaust off.. Hopefully, they'll be the right ones.
So the engine wouldn't fire up, obviously. But when I turn the ignition on the Fuel pump sounds like hell.. It sounds like its priming, but does it for about 20 Seconds..
Not even a cough from the engine, just cranking and cranking.
In addition to this, My dials/clocks are playing silly buggers too. When the ignition is on,the majority of lights are on, on the dash. High/low beam, handbrake, one indicator arrow. Just all illuminated. So fuck knows whats going on here.

Collected my OMP exhaust earlier, via a Lift by my mum.
It needs a Clean up and a polish, but it was a bargain. Also got a couple of sensors at the same time, Turns out one is the wrong one.. So I'm still in need of a MAP sensor.

I do Thats why I'm wanting to get it on my car...
And I only paid £40 for it. Uber winning.
I've been looking for one for ages, I saw one on ebay a few months ago and wish I'd bought it. That was until this one came up on here. Just need a new manifold to suit, I'm looking at a GMC manifold, so I'll see to it when my engine runs
