Footballers have affairs all the time... If Mr Speed was having an affair and it was about to go public I doubt he'd top himself.

Don't feel bad asking, everyone's curious, not about respecting the reasons why he did it and 'the public not needing to know', the public don't need to know a lot of things such as affairs and footballers private lives, but the tabloids still ruin peoples lives. This is no different and I am genuinely intrigued as I'm pretty sure everyone was stunned by this. It's important to have answers (not for me, I'm just an interested spectator, I just mean generally).
