KrisB said that B4 shocks are the best out of all the bilsteins?? and yea i bought apex shocks as they are shorter and made for lowered springs.

to fit a 106 recess obviously you would need to hack up a 106 rear bumper and cut it out and then rivet/smooth it in to your bumper, a professional job would be needed but would make the back end look much more oem as you'll have an actual plate recess and you could wire up the 106 number plate lights and with the tow eye smoothed would make it look awesome

and ye will look in to the whole bumper idea cos i not to keen on it either at the mo but will do forthe time being

I know this is an old comment but b4's are the cheapest shocks bilstein do, they are the worst not the best ones lol they are only supposed to be fitted with a standard spring, 25mm spring max

Anyways I loved how the flatty looked i would have just done a 16v conversion with that

New motor looks good though mk1 FTW!
