Default '01 1.1 5 Door Progress

So, after spending the last 6 months trying to get my car through an MOT, its finally passed! Still a few problems to sort (i think the tester just got fed up with seeing it), mainly hole in the exhaust.

Since i've had the car i have done only a couple of small modifications;
fitted new stereo, amp and sub (later turned into a boot build as i got annoyed with it sliding around my boot. )

Sprayed a few bits of trim that were chipped or scratched.
Sprayed front grill and front chevrons black.

Blacked out boot and door badges.

Painted and fitted light brows (Still not sure if i like them)

When I bought the car it had a spare wingmirror in the boot for some reason. At the moment I'm painting this red to match the car, possibly with black caps. Then I'll fit it and see how it looks before ruining the original pair.

Plans for the near future;
replace exhaust (stainless hopefully)
106 leather seats
tidy/clean engine bay
try to make engine a bit smoother

I also plan on getting it lowered and on alloys, but this is going to have to wait until i get enough funds to throw at the car.

Thoughts and advice welcome.
Will no doubt uncover problems that i'l be picking your brains to solve soon.

Cheers,
Mike

Cheers, tried to make the grill look decent without going down the mesh road.
I read gti ones are simple to fit and not too pricey from a scrappy.
But I have seen a few cars on here with them, yea.
Know of any decent sets that aren't rediculous bucks?

To be honest mate you could get a rear bench that fits and anything that looks similar would go well. Mix it up a little dont follow the crowds know what i mean

I own a 5 door as well, need to get a more doors, more whores sticker

I sank a VTR interior, back bench is full, as we have a half bench, so you'll need to take the joint out, It'll just leave your back seat unsupported.

I think black vtr alloys would look tidy though, and maybe mesh the grill? Also dewiper after winter?

Haha, well good. Hadn't seen those stickers til now. Not a big fan of meshed grills, wanna keep it looking fairly standard, just smarten it up a bit.

Can you still use it 'unsupported' tho?

People can sit in it, yes, you could buy the adapter but I hardly give lifts or have fat people in the back.

Those who have sat in the back, havent mentioned anything.

Smoked front lights?

Jewelled rears?

Got my spare mirror painted today, just got to finish the black cap.
Mismatch mirrors until i decide whether to do the other or go back to standard.

Black cap fitted. Car looks silly with mirrors that don't match.
Hopefully get it sorted when it warms up a bit...

On a different note, I notice a huuuge pinch point on the feed to the airbox. (Pic below)
Will i benefit from replace this with straight pipe? Or is there a reason for it being like this?

if citroen designed that pipe like that then there will be a reason for it, its not like yours is the only one with it lol i think the 'pinch' is there to speed up the air or something like that

looks good what youve done so far apart from the headlight brow things! If you remove that pipe and air feed to the box it will be alot louder....

Cheers, I'm not sure on the brows either. Think they'll be taken off soon.
