holy f*cking shit!.. attaching, removing and reattaching of safety lines takes time and effort.. yeah but so does cleaning up bodies and doing paperwork if a worker falls! fuck sake!

I would imagine that these tower workers cant get life insurance. Can you imagine a guest of wind and the cold moisture in the air.

I'm sure it would be courteous.
Imagine if you had a gust of wind whilst up there? scary.
But its stable platform, you'd have to remember if you slip you'll reach terminal velocity (120mph-ish) depending on body mass.
Empire state was the first building you could jump off to achieve this.
