I can't tell too much but did the pothole cause your driveshaft to snap at the CV joint and that caused you to crash?

you got it, drive shaft snapped at the wheel didnt recover the shaft must be in a field but the pot hole kinda snaped my wheel and driveshaft with a big bang then all i saw was a wall, thinking the wheel locked up after it snaped cos the stearing wheel did nothing

they wanted 6 grand to reinsure, managed to get a 1.7 turbo corsa insured for only £1,400

Was the drive shaft knocking for a while before it did that? Just a bit worried cause mine is knocking a bit on the 1.0 Saxo would never want it to fail like yours did.
