Just wondering if there are any ways of getting round using one of these. Don't have one and don't know anyone that does. Putting a new clutch on new 1.4 block. . . Or am i going to have to go buy one

I do them by eye if I CBA to look for an alignment tool. Just make sure the centre hole through the friction plate lines up centre with the splines on the pressure plate.

I just use a screw driver and get it perfect everytime. Not only looking at the input shaft area to make sure its on evenly but also look around the edge of the friction plate to see if its even all around the edge on the outsides of the plates of the pressure plate.
