Default Key Fob not working anymore ><

Ok so to keep it nice and simple, bought the car about a month ago now and the fob was working, I replaced it with a eBay case as the internals are working fine, then it's started getting intermittent, I've checked the internals of the fob but I'm a bit miffed as to how to check the receiver in the car..

I know I've read on here that it's in the roof but is there a way to inspect it for corrosion without removing the sunroof?

if anyone has images too they'd be life savers too

Cheers

I'd read somewhere folks saying about it getting wet from a leaking sunroof and corroding?

not sure how genuine this is though!

I did wonder this as it does dislodge slightly occasionally but now doesn't even work after a jiggle of the battery back into its place sad times lol
