Raped by a hybrid
So some laughable 3 series hybrid was behind me today, I let him past then tucked in behind him to make him taste my torque, having a 320d nothing can escape me on a slight incline as it's the fastest car in the world!
So, hybrids, BMW seem to have missed the point....
Quote:
...Using a 306bhp straight-six turbo with that electrified transmission, to make a car that'll do 0-60 in five seconds.
...You can choose to spend that saved energy in different ways. You can use it on replacing engine power, to use less fuel. Or on augmenting the engine power, to go faster on the same fuel.
...The performance gain is nice, but it isn't all that great: the petrol engine is 306bhp, the electric one takes the total to 340bhp
|
This didn't end well for me.
I'm liking this version of the "hybrid" though, but for almost 6k over a standard car???

Looks like someone was getting air pie lol
I'll save you, sounds pretty cool tbh. I'd find it interesting until the novelty wore off but I bet it's good compared to a std petrol, in the sense of saving money, but you aren't ever going to see that saving because you have to pay 6k for it.

Don't forget it had traction control that couldn't be fully turned off.

An elderly chap drove into the BM, some peenarse drove into the back, someone drove a land rover and trailer along the side of the legacy, the list goes on.
He's got a better safety record on track than road!

I've heard...
The only common denominator with all these is Muz - and I have to be on the road in the same area as him!

I wouldn't worry, the EK9 wouldn't get near the 320d torque monsta
I heard when DSC was turned off in 2nd gear it slows the world on it's axis.

I'd just use my washer jets to get a bit of screen wash onto the EK9
Nicole would have to immediately stop to take photos of the beading before giving the car a "quick" detail and I'd be off over the horizon!
And Deano, crashed twice on a straight road twice, is that 4 times?
I do get crashed into a lot! But I do leave my drive
