I'd rather chisel Boro off the UK and push it into the sea than lose Scotland, other than the parmo, drugged up hookers, a former fotball manager with a sweet perm and molesting children what have you given us?

Wasnt there a purple baby at some point? Oh and all that sweet, sweet smoke.
Everywhere you go shopping in boro is like walking out the stars in your eyes door...
But seriously on the scotland question, think it was a bit cheeky of them to say they want independence and then ask to keep OUR currency... Independence means independence.
Also, someone mentioned that scotland puts in more than it gets. I'm sure thats the same for everyone in this country as a whole? Even our government doesnt pay out half as much as it should, because theyre all using it for holidays and 6 homes.
The government is a joke...

Yup, fully funded learning. You also get a bursary and student loan to cover the costs of living whilst studying if you qualify. Which the tory's tried to get rid of...

Meh makes no ends to me, if we get independence ill take my tax paying ass south of the border then elsewhere in the world.
The Scottish Government is already as corrupt and backwards as the full UK government in England and thats without full powers.

The price the house was offered at was too good to knock back. Cant move back as my parents have since downsized. Was pretty easy as all the financials were sorted without a hassle, moving was straightforward as I didnt have too much to take and could take it in a couple of goes with a van.
But moving house isnt relevant at all to the discussion about a country going independent, parallels can be loosely drawn between the two but are no way indicative of real world scenario.

It's a big question to ask up here , iv heard arguments for both sides, most people employed in the financial sector see it as a bad idea but the average joe seems to want it. Most scots are fed up being governed by people in London who don't have a real view into Scotland...but are we better off on our own ? Only time will tell.
