My magnex is in no way quiet. Even idling! And sitting at 70 on the motorway is not pleasant!

My Magnex used to gurgle loads about 3.5k revs IIRC. If not it was 2.5k, but it used to gurgle loads, no pops and bangs though. SuperSprint system with 3" Piper backbox used to pop loads about 4k revs and on the engine run-off but when changing to PH3s and map it didn't pop or bang at all, even after getting bodies mapped onto it. Saying that it might be doing it but might not hear it over the bodies

The Magnex systems are pretty quiet. Mine never made much noise other then the usual exhaust drone/noise lol.
If you want pop try getting a SuperSprint Race centre section and cutting it to fit the sleeved fitment on the Magnex as this would then loose the centre silencer you have on the current Magnex system.
Fitting this centre section to my cousins car as opposed to the standard centre section made a big difference to his VTR. It went from just exhaust noise to popping a fair bit although this was with a 3.5" Piper rear silencer I would imagine it would act in a similar fashion.

is it standard mani nicole?
and it might, but a furio centre section snt going to be great, and a 1.1 backbox gunna lower the odds even more imo. i could be wrong, but i dont think it will with that backbox

well benjee off here has standard mk1 mani and is borrowing my supersprint centre section and 2" backbox and thats popping a fair bit and a very nice noise..
maybe try something different.. i saw a rally with the exhaust coming out of the rear 1/4 just infront of the wheel.. would be good for your kinda theme as would be different, then you can have whatever backbox..
just an idea

ive got a supersprint center section with standard mani and back box and it does pop from time to time and i have had 2 flames come out over the 6 or so months or owning it but exhaust systems need time to bed in it will probably pop more over time mine has only just started doing it

with such a short exhuast though i can imagine it sounds quite different and would effect performance, i dunno, im abit of a noob but might just get a custom hidden one done as its more subtle then, and itll have its vtec purrrrr
