in all honesty just get on with your life and you will suddenly find someone who you like and for some reason get on with like a house on fire. too many people want partners and end up choosing someone that will just do FOR NOW and end up splitting a few months down the line. is it really worth it?
i find that by getting on with whats important in my life, i suddenly see someone who i like and just strike up a convo to see what theyre like. if we get on its cool and if not just move on. the only thing that gets hurt is your pride. if they laugh at you then its only them who lost out on a great friendship.

i know how you feel, when i was younger and not in a relationship (which i am now) i never really spoke to lads when i went out apart from telling the idiots to p**s off! i would never know what to say so i just didnt bother! i have never had any confidence since my ex cheated on me, and treated me really badly, and my current bf has been trying very hard and helping me alot to get it back slowly!
