nothing to do with the spec, its to do with the fact the wiring loom was bodged from day 1, so was on its way out, before it fully shat itself lol

Ah right. Well that still sucks mate. But good to know rest of the engines reliable. Like i said hopefully the schlag will be back tearing up tarmac soon.

The engines built to take 10k, so shoudlnt have anything wrong there really, unless something went very badly wrong.
Wiring tends to be the massive issues with reliability in most cases sadly.

The wiring was ruined when i got to it, i repaired some and changed some but ultimately i said to ryan when i sold the car that i wanted to rewire it from fresh again anyway, and it just turns out it's fucked itself sooner than we'd hoped!

Well, finally had some time free aswell as alex to get to work on the car.
Plan was to changed when we found out the single plug vtr loom I had got was a late plug so wasnt any use to us with the loom we had for the engine...
Anyway.... Dash ooOOoooot, heater matrix and crap gone.
Wing and bumper off for loom removal
Plenty of wires (3/4 car looms) all useless lol!

Just a bit ghey lees loom being a single plug loom was a late one with the wrong multiplug on the end... Who would have known eh! Sods law!
Alexs parents gave us some odd looks today with 3-4 wiring looms spread out over the drive lol!

We're converting it to a early single plug loom setup, we got the engine loom from redbullets vts but his car loom had a clifford fitted and was all hacked about so we had to bin that.
I fitted the engine loom ages ago so we just need a car loom to go in, make an emerald adapter loom and off we go.
