mines completely standard apart from Magnex back box and an induction.

and it pops its ass off.

in 1st, sharp acceleration, then 2nd, then dip the clutch.. and pop pop pop bang bang bang!

If you want it to pop more get a FSE Power boost valve and decat and set the fuel pressure to 6bar haha that should do it!

i have had 2 now. mainly coz i cant afford a mk 2!! lol

Mk1s look more manly i think though... but mk2s look sweet with the dimma grill and black light mod... so each to there own though.

Standard mani and downpipe and brand new (100miles) standard system, nice burble and a few pops


not sure of the cars history though, so might have been mapped then (?) and the guys took all the parts off and fitted OEM before selling up

4-2-1 raceland, straight through 2.5" pipe to mongoose backbox

pops and burbles like a motherfucker on the overrun

also pops when changing 2nd to third at high revs

Just blow the lambda sensor out of your standard system like I did last week and it pops like a bitch coming down through the revs

Well seen as though it was my car ill explain why it doesnt pop, the magnex i had on was a twin box system hence why it wont pop

If you come off the throttle and constantly light tap the throttle, should pop and bang in the powerband, my milltek enjoyed popping, and really want another one!!!

or just loosen the manifold bolts so oxygen mixes with the fumes as this is what causes them to bang.
