wiring started

vts fuel return now all in

90% of sound deadening out rest will be removed when it eventually goes to my mates body shop for cage non sunroof roofskin and paint

janspeed fitted(rear box not aligned or tight yet,sits far back as lower engine mount not on yet)
have just picked up a scorpion cat back system as well tho

ordered :
strut top strengthening plates
gauge pod for centre vent area of dash ready to smooth and flock
trs tow strap(will be usefull to get to bodyshop lol)
baker bm lower fork bush
waiting on:
gti6 calipers and master cylinder (here tommorow)
tu5jp4 engine (here weekend hopefully)
plan is:
old engine out
top plates and strenthening plates welded in full engine bay/scuttle area colour change, engine back in with vtr box etc
then save a bit to get it to pug1off for a few goodies
paint the rest of car when cage etc is here

Do you know how to fit the jp4 engine or do you need advise on swapping parts over? Also looks like you've got b8/ group n suspension the only other bilsteins people fit to saxos really are the b4's which are black so deffo not them lol

b8 good?
engine wise ive found a couple of guides and have a very expeirenced pug mechanic who is a very good friend and very talented also been speaking to pug1off so should be able to get it in i hope, but any advice always listened too mate

i think you can get b6s too!
and there are two different types of b8s....
the grp n's have a different cap holding the strut in.... if its a polished aluminium one they are grp n's if you have the copper/brass coloured one then will be one of the above

Nice Progress  plans sound good , look forward to seeing what you do to it mods wise, i remember this car when tom had it/ had the vts engine put in the car etc sounded nice with a supersprint i think was not sure.

when i picked it up it had a poorly fitted vts lump and was running like crap yh had that exhaust on it but sold it didnt like it

engine is now out as ive picked up a 19k c2 vtr lump which im getting ready to fit, just got to swap all the bits over roofs waiting to be fitted next month, colur scheme is decided now
also got a 3month old 4 branch, forced induction kit and strutbrace for £48 !
