Time to change
Right after being a pawper for the past year, I am starting to think practical. Koleen's progress has ground to a halt as all I seem to be doing at the moment is fixing things on her. Still need to replace driveshafts and the exhaust! Front isn't sitting low enough so need to get suspension sorted again!
Me is thinking do i keep koleen as she is, unfinished project and buy a decent car thats ready to go! Or finish koleen off, then sell for the next car!
Either way I still want to get a mk1 golf at some point and start the true 'PROJECT'
Thoughts on possible new car aswell . . . .

Tough call Rich. End of the day is there any point finishing a car off if your just
going to sell it?
I know you have been having major problem with her at the moment, Id hate to
see her go, but thing is I know how much hassle it is.
Gotta weigh up things like cost to get her back on the road in mint cond/the
benefits of a new car. I think you issues could be easily fixed with the Sax, but
is it worth it???? Gotta do what you gotta do Rich man. Even when you get
her back running 100%, will you still be tempted to sell?? Hmmmmm ?

Have only just took new insurance out on her so wont be looking to sell straight away! Think I just need to get the driveshafts and exhaust fixed! Drive her for a while and see if I get the enjoyment I used to get back! At the moment I am just driving her because I have to!
If I do keep her I am not going to spend as much money on her as I had planned! Going to be on a true budget as looking to save cash for others things!
Coilovers will probably be off the list, as will custom leather interior and the roof chop.
Will do few tweaks to the engine, maybe de locked!

to be honest rich your always saying your skint as it is! so a new car, higher insurance premiums etc etc is going to cripple you even more
keep and dont mod, save your dollar up and get enough for a decent deposit on a car

Should be getting new job soon! Just cant do medical when i am on antibiotics! then money should not be an issue!
Is a VTS in group 14 for insurance?
Hopefully getting driveshafts sorted soon! Then maybe get exhaust fixed around my birthday! The save the cash up and see what car I can afford next year!

VTR is group 7 you penis! VTS is 14. Or is that what you ment?
Get that driveshaft sorted, get a full magnex and manifold on there. Then give
it a hardcore detail/clean inside/out/engine bay etc etc. Then it will run like a
dream. You know Im right.
