Yeah they're a cunt, I've had to get someone to hold full lock and bounce on the bar a few times haha

Most awkward bit is stopping the steering turning as you lose all torque transfer when it moves

saxo: get it through it's mot in may (hahaha)

quiksilver: new washer pump, drill hole in sill for sunroof drain, strip roof lining out and clean out all the mould that has formed due to the blocked sunroof drain, refit the kit, wing and wheel that I had to take off when sorting the drain and washer pump.

S1 106: finish engine swap (maybe remote mount turbo(s)), sort wiring for that, fit new rear beam, fit pts wide arch kit, fit evoliss front bumper, fit rally light bar/brackets and 8x rally/fog lights, wiring setup and tidy for the lights, get roll cage feet fitted, fit roll cage, fit bar padding to cage, refit buckets along with new 3 inch strap harnesses (eyelets and clip in harnesses from the same company who make harnesses for uk armoured vehicles!), fit false floor in the rear along with sub build etc, fit in car computer and set all that up. That's enough to keep me busy for the moment I reckon.

My list is worryingly long:

-Sort clutch, gearbox and driveshaft out (only need to source a new gearbox now)
-Lower it
-Fit GTi brakes
-Install a quickshift
-Put the Pugsport on (and maybe put a Raceland on)
-Put some VTS wheels on
-Trip to the bodyshop (GTi spoiler, sort a few niggles out, potential front end to tidy up a few stonechips)
-Detail it - properly. Decontaminate, machine and protect the paint, strip her down, clean the arches, struts, (paint where necessary) engine bay, interior, potential boot build, replace old bits like faded door strips and get her looking spot on.

Luckily I have a company car now so I can work on her without the hassle of putting her back together every 5 minutes like I'd have to with a daily

Every time I look at my list it gets longer, it's the joys I guess.

Most of the stuff I will be doing myself so I don't mind it sitting in the drive for a while until I'm ready to get right into it.

My todo list is service when the parts turn up. Hopefully Ecp pull their thumb out. Then fit wiring for sub and amp and uprated my speakers.

Todays to do list is pick up some hubcentric spacers and whack them on, then clean it.

I've also got a driveshaft and 2 track rod ends sitting here, so they need fitting, then i'll get all the alignment done. Could do with a service also lol.
