Right guys,
I hope you can help.
I haven't done much researching, but from what I have found - can't you just get a Sky TV package without phone/broadband?
I'm thinking of having it installed in my room with sports channels etc.

I'm tied with a contract with BT until January 2009 for my Broadband.

im just getting a sky box on tue cant wait fucking fed up with virgin media its shit wouldnt give me phone and broadband cause i have a virgin line and internet and cba getting bt in to change it to a bt line but yeah you canjust get the box.
also can you put it in 2 rooms like have the box in the living room and get it in the beedroom with a coaxial wire or sumit?

Yeh you can just get normal sky!! Think minimum package is like 4 genres out of 7.. something like that not sure on price though

we've just got tv on its own with no broadband or telephone, we pay £21 a month for everything except sports and movies

Yes you can, the only thing I don't like about Sky is how they have to wire your TV up to the telephone line so you can access the interactive service, was thinking about getting it but as they wouldn't do the wiring externally I opted to stick with VirginMedia, would of been far to much internal wiring around the house all for the sake of being able to go interactive.

The most basic package with like 4 picks is £16 a month. Then all picks but no movies and sports is £21 then its £45 for the whole lot.
When i signed up i first went for the £16 one, got bored so went up to he full package. Nobody even mentioned to me about broadband or telephone until i saw an advert so i rang em up and added it. So you dont have to have the whole lot.
