ill get a pic tomorow, its sitting in the garage. I've put the car up for sale without these carbon parts but will most likely just fit them unless I get a buyer for them before the weekend

ok cool cheers, let me know tomorrrow prices on bits when you get the pic, i was gonna go r32 rear bumper and back box but i might stick to a colour coded rear valance and the carbon diffuser could look very nice

haha i knew youd comment saying that was just a matter of time

tbh i actually like the brushed aluminum interior trim, i do like the carbon more but not worth me spending over £200 replacing something that i actually like lol

if the diffuser is still around around payday ill be very interested i can see the remap getting pushed back another month so i can sort out the rear end

On the car though, it's nice, not the biggest fan of grey seats, much prefer black if it's cloth.. But apart from that, i like it!
Liking the car a lot,the seats look like ford capri seats(no they're not)

love this bud, im a vw guy at heart tbh, my mk4 gti also had that rubbery coat stuff over not only all the knobs but the center console as well and it all got chipped away as you say by nails and stuff i guess. Also my aerial ended up exactly like that too :/

seems like a good buy for 6k, the carbon would be an interesting move especially to replace the dull plain plastic diffuser lol

Dropped my golf off at the bodyshop today and picked up this little beaut!

Its a bag of nails, steering is so vague you get nothing and then it suddenly turns, when it does turn you roll out your seat and get sea sick, it doesn't accelerate, it gradually increases in speed, sounds like a tractor, and the boot is better described as a luggage compartment

Picked my car up yesterday morning and very happy with the results, all in the guy said its about £800 worth of work done I got him to start writing me up a quote to c/c all the plastic bits, refurb the wheels and he said instead of re-painting the rear nearside quarter panel (badly scratched and key'd) he can machine polish it for an hours labour to get it 80% better it guessed
