haha i knew youd comment saying that was just a matter of time
tbh i actually like the brushed aluminum interior trim, i do like the carbon more but not worth me spending over £200 replacing something that i actually like lol
if the diffuser is still around around payday ill be very interested i can see the remap getting pushed back another month so i can sort out the rear end

couple bits of tidying up, firstly i replaced my nasty aerial
i also tried to polish the headlights with the meguirs restoration kit, did an ok job but im going to have to get more sand paper and give it another go
before
after
and lastly i went to vw and booked a slot with their warranty manager about my rusty wings, he took pics and paint depth readings and he seems positive ill have a couple wings fitted for free should get a phone call from their bodyshop in 5 working days to book me in
ill also get a quote to c/c the front splitter, sideskirts and rear valance

If it's from a dealer, i'd chase them up
On the car though, it's nice, not the biggest fan of grey seats, much prefer black if it's cloth.. But apart from that, i like it!

Liking the car a lot,the seats look like ford capri seats(no they're not)

love this bud, im a vw guy at heart tbh, my mk4 gti also had that rubbery coat stuff over not only all the knobs but the center console as well and it all got chipped away as you say by nails and stuff i guess. Also my aerial ended up exactly like that too :/
seems like a good buy for 6k, the carbon would be an interesting move especially to replace the dull plain plastic diffuser lol
