can never get car clean
so basically i am no cleaning freak or anything but every now and again i like to give the car a bit of a wash and polish if i can be arsed, but anyway when i was the car it never comes clean, its like it has dried mucky/dusty? i use this method.
-hose car over
-wash car over with a mitt using auto glym shampoo
-hose car off again
-wait for it to dry (i would dry it myself but dont have anything to use)
i know its a basic way of cleaning and dont expect ridiculous shine, but what am i doing wrong, im sure someone could shed some light.
cheers.

+1 to this, it makes everything really streaky, just purchase a good quality drying towel

A good wax might help with the dust issue, or it could just be where the car's parked up. I've had a lot of dust build up on my car recently due to cross winds blowing dust over from a playing field.

that's because dust sticks to the water then ends up on the car instead of being blown away, then more dust sticks to the existing dust and piles up. A proper clean + dry + polish should help to reduce your problem.

What i do is give the car a rub down to get all the excess water off do this with micro fibre rages then air compress all the other water out all the crack, then go over with another micro fibre with some like shine adhesive shit and comes up nice

Just curious, where do I get this "Like shine adhesive shit" from??
Seriously if you want it to look good:
Wash with 2 bucket method
rinse
dry
polish
wax
There's lots more I could go into but you say you're not that bothered so I'm keeping it simple. That'll look ok, if you want good results get yourself on cleanyourcar.co.uk and spend some money.
Also microfibre rages sound dangerous, they sound so angry!

I wouldn't put a chamois on the mazda, and that doesnt even have laquer. Causes swirl marks and will make the paint hazy. A decent microfibre is all you need.

some people just don't give a fuck how their car looks tbh lol.
If your not that arsed about amazing paintwork just take it to your local friendly Eastern European gentlemen who will gladly be of assistance.

ok, this is a more expensive option, but clay the car all over, then give it a GOOD coat of wax, it sounds like your dirt could be bedded in (try drying yourself first though :L) if it is, the clay will get it right off, and wax should mean it wont need doing again, most sites ive been on reccomend claying twice a year
