Question Seatbelts fully retracted

So my car was stripped and then I decided to put it all back in, however when I came to fit the rear seatbelts they had fully retracted and won't unravel. Is there a way to release them? Thank you

This happened to mine, weirdly if you bolt them back in their original place and then try to pull the strap out slowly, that should do the trick. I think they have to be in that position for the ball bearing or whatever it is inside to work

Remove the black cap on the side. The one WITHOUT the spring coil inside, your be able to feel which one has the coil inside.

With the black cap removed your be able to see the ball bearing, remove it, pull the seatbelt out, tie a knot in the belt and then put the ball bearing back in.

They are side specific, so if they don't work the one side, swap them over.
