spacers
what size of spacers would i need to make a set of 17 " 205 alloys to fit my car and what rubbing probs would there be im lowwered 35mm but no rear seats in the back would i still get full lock? cheers will rep for help

You dont get 17" 205 alloys mate...
And whats the offset of the wheels? The diameter is irrelevant as to wether they will fit correctly.
Whatever you do you are bound to get scrubbage on full lock, but you can tae out the arch liner to get round this.

says on the tyre 205 40 17 were do you find the ofset i bought them originaly for my p reg seat ibiza gti but sold it

The offset will be on the inside, on the back of one of the spokes i expect.
It will say like ET38 or similar.
Are you sure the ibiza wheels are the same PCD and centre bore as the saxos?
The need to be 4 stud, pcd of 4x108 and et18 i think.
Best bet is to try one on it mate. Only takes a couple of mins to trial fit a wheel.

tried that cant even get it on the hub it hits the strut

In that case they must be miles off!!
Do the bolt holes line up, and are there any markings on the wheel itself?

it says et 06 and i think the hud size is 73mm

In that case you will need about 10mm spacers i think, although im not exactly sure of the saxo offset. But i think its et18.

hub size 73mm there a black plastic ring on the inside of the wheel with a sticker on it that say's 73mm so im guesing its the hub size
